Permaculture Design

Here you will find my projects related to landscaping, agriculture, regenerative agriculture, and permaculture. I use Blender as the basis for almost all my 3D modeling and I have a Permaculture Design Certificate from Kibbutz Lotan in the Arava Desert of Israel (2022).

Secret Gardens of the Vatican (St. Tropez, France)

I worked on a residential manor in St. Tropez for a client that wanted to recreate the rose gardens of the Vatican. I was given inspiration from some old pictures of the Vatican gardens. I worked with the landscaping crew and the electricians (as I did all the lighting studies as well) to get to the final design of the clients. This project is currently under construction.

Date Seed and Neem Oil Processing Station (Lotan, Israel)

As part of the final project for my permaculture course, we were tasked with making a permaculture-principles based design project. I had the idea of making it into an oil processing station for the area's agricultural byproducts.   This would include a sun-drying area, a bottling area, a rest area for the workers, and a packaging area. All the elements were designed and placed on the land after doing stakeholder interviews, sector analysis, and various permaculture principles like input/output analysis and zone mapping.

Agrotourism Permaculture Project (Sifnos, Greece)

This is a 1-acre plot of land I own on the island of Sifnos, Greece that I am converting into a permaculture agrotourism destination. It will include a star-gazing area surrounded by an aromatic garden, an area for emu/fruit tree agroforestry, a mud-built bench and archway, and many other elements. All placements of elements were done with sector analysis including solar analysis, wind analysis for the Meltemi winds, w ater needs, and zone analysis. This dream/permaculture is currently underway, with many fruit and nut trees already planted, Island Bunker under construction, and compost piles in progress. Additionally, the design has run through the standard P.O.B.R.E.D.I.M method of permaculture design. αναγεννητική γεωργία Σίφνος.
