Artisanal Products
Another interest of mine is making artisanal and sometimes obscure products from either things I have cultivated, caught, or foraged for. Below are some of these things.
Plakoto Wine
Plakoto is my small-batch wine brand. The name comes from the region on the island of Sifnos where the vineyard is located. It is directly translated as "the stony place". It is a sweet wine made in the Vin Santo style, where the grapes were left to semi-dry in the sun to enhance the sweetness and aromas, which in turn reduces the yield. It is made from the Assyrtiko grape.
